Before high school, I had never touched a weight in my life. One day in PE class, I found myself struggling to press a 65lb bench. What looked simple for others felt nearly impossible for me. I was humiliated, defeated, and forced to face my own inadequacies. In that moment, I made a promise to myself: I would never feel or look weak again.
I immediately committed to training 5 days a week. I followed those stronger and more aesthetic than me, soaking up everything I could. Progress wasn’t instant, but by my junior year, I had become a whole new person. Even then, I wanted more—if I saw someone stronger or in better shape, it fueled me to improve. That drive to be better than I was yesterday became part of who I am.
Fast forward 12 years: I walked into Self Made Training Facility in Orange and began my journey as a coach. Training others was a whole new challenge. I wasn’t content with simply knowing how to train myself—I became obsessed with learning everything I could to help others succeed. My journey into fitness began at 18. Growing up, I struggled with my weight and was often bullied for being the “chubby” kid. I attended several schools, facing harsh bullying, and I never felt confident in my own skin. For years, I believed that change was impossible—that I was just stuck being who I was. But eventually, I had had enough. I made the decision to take control of my life, and it became the best choice I’ve ever made.
I dove into bodybuilding, losing all my fat and gaining 25 pounds of muscle in a short amount of time. At 20, I competed in my first bodybuilding competition, and the discipline and results fueled my passion even further. From there, I became obsessed with powerlifting, although I never competed, I pushed myself to continually improve my strength and technique.
My journey didn’t stop there. Always interested in self-defense due to my childhood experiences, I transitioned into MMA. Despite being intimidated at first, I pushed past my fears and, just six months later, had my first fight. Although I didn’t win, the experience ignited a fire in me, and I went on to earn a 4-2 record in the ring, all while learning valuable self-defense techniques along the way.
Today, I bring a diverse background in fitness and training, but it’s the systems I’ve developed in nutrition, strength training, and self-defense that truly set my approach apart. I’m a walking, breathing testament that if I can transform my life, so can anyone. It doesn’t matter where you start; if you’re committed to making a change, I’m here to help you get there.

I’m 10 years into my transition from female to male and it was fitness and weight-lifting that helped me appreciate my body not only for what it looked like but for what it was capable of. After reaching these results I knew that I wanted to help others achieve their health and fitness goals and to help them transform themselves into the best versions yet. I have been helping others in the gym for over a decade and officially became certified as a personal trainer in 2023. I have been a martial arts instructor for over 3 years teaching people from 3 years old to 80 years old. During this time I have also worked with people from a wide range of physical and mental disabilities and have helped them gain confidence and make progress toward their health goals at their own pace. Since becoming a trainer I’ve been able to help my clients lose pounds of fat and gain strength.
