Ace Patel – Personal Trainer in Orange County

At a young age, I have always been so fascinated with human movement. I grew up playing sports and discovered weight lifting. Little did I know how many benefits I was getting from moving my body!

But as I got older I struggled being insecure about my body. I also had to go through many surgeries from structural problems with my bones (issues I was born with).

These set-backs pushed me to learn more about the human body and get a Kinesiology degree from Cal State Fullerton. During that time, I also worked with a Physical Therapist, so I could not only understand human movement at the highest level, but also rehabilitate injuries.

I have now been coaching and rehabilitating clients for 9 years! I have worked with all ages from 12-90 years and serviced thousands of hours towards strength training, weight loss and performance, while fixing injuries, compensations and imbalances.

Let’s work together and create a body for longevity!

John Clement – Personal Trainer in Orange County

I became a personal trainer because I was forced to look in the mirror and see my own inadequacies and lack of knowledge when it came to strength training. Prior to high school, I never lifted weights in my life.

One PE class was all it took to change my perspective about myself. Trying to execute a 65lb bench was nearly impossible for me. I was humiliated and defeated that something that looked so simple and easy was extremely difficult to press off my chest. I made a promise to myself that I never wanted to feel and look weak ever again.
I started training 5 days a week immediately. I asked others that were more aesthetic and stronger than me if I could do follow them and their routine. It took till I was a junior in high school to realize I was a whole new person. A part of me still wanted more especially if I saw someone that looked better than me or was stronger than me. I was driven to become better than I was yesterday.
Fast forward 12 years, I found my way to Self Made Training Facility in Orange. Becoming a coach was extremely challenging because I was so used to training myself but not others. To become more proficient in coaching, I became a sponge soaking in all the knowledge I received from other experts, reading, watching educational videos, and getting my certification. I quickly advanced as an elite coach became known as the strongest guy in the gym.
I strive to make others feel good about themselves through strength training and athletic performance. What I experienced in high school is what I don’t want for others. I’ve made it my mission to prioritize my clients health, improve their aesthetics, integrate a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable, and be the strongest version of themselves.
The goal is to release your inner athlete. We all have that innate in us. If this story resonates with, please send me a message. I have over 3 years of coaching experience and I have helped hundreds of individuals feel their absolute best and improve their health. I look forward to working with you.
