As a student-athlete he knows how difficult it can be to balance all areas of life while performing at your peak. His philosophy is all about hard work and discipline, instilling his athletes with skills to be great within sports and within life as well.

Julian brings 15 years of experience as an athlete to J Squared Optimization. Having worked with skilled trainers throughout his athletic journey, Julian has gained a deep understanding of effective training techniques and strategies. His passion lies in passing that knowledge to the next generation, helping his clients grow stronger, more confident, and better prepared to achieve their goals—both on and off the field. Hi, I’m Justin Land, and I’m proud to be a personal trainer here at Self Made Training Facility. With over 12 years of training experience, I’m committed to helping others transform their lives, just as I did mine and many clients.

My journey into fitness began at 18. Growing up, I struggled with my weight and was often bullied for being the “chubby” kid. I attended several schools, facing harsh bullying, and I never felt confident in my own skin. For years, I believed that change was impossible—that I was just stuck being who I was. But eventually, I had had enough. I made the decision to take control of my life, and it became the best choice I’ve ever made.

I dove into bodybuilding, losing all my fat and gaining 25 pounds of muscle in a short amount of time. At 20, I competed in my first bodybuilding competition, and the discipline and results fueled my passion even further. From there, I became obsessed with powerlifting, although I never competed, I pushed myself to continually improve my strength and technique.

My journey didn’t stop there. Always interested in self-defense due to my childhood experiences, I transitioned into MMA. Despite being intimidated at first, I pushed past my fears and, just six months later, had my first fight. Although I didn’t win, the experience ignited a fire in me, and I went on to earn a 4-2 record in the ring, all while learning valuable self-defense techniques along the way.

Today, I bring a diverse background in fitness and training, but it’s the systems I’ve developed in nutrition, strength training, and self-defense that truly set my approach apart. I’m a walking, breathing testament that if I can transform my life, so can anyone. It doesn’t matter where you start; if you’re committed to making a change, I’m here to help you get there.

I specialize in working with beginners and busy professionals, helping them achieve their fitness goals and get in the best shape of their lives within 90 days. My approach combines strength training with elements of MMA and boxing, creating a program that builds muscle quickly while burning fat even faster. I teach my clients how to train like fighters—without the risk of injury—and how to push their limits in a safe and effective way.

While I’ve competed in various sports, my true gift lies in helping others reach their full potential. I pride myself on my ability to assess each client individually and create personalized training plans that maximize growth while ensuring long-term health and longevity. My goal is to make fitness fun, challenging, and life-changing.

My name is Mason Brodit, NASM Certified Trainer, B.S Kinesiology Strength & Conditioning from Cal State Fullerton at Self Made Orange. Specializing in a *food first* approach to overall health, wellness, and fitness. Certified flexibility & mobility coach through the Stretch Lab franchise. 17 combined years background/experience in sports, strength building, conditioning, nutrition, bodybuilding, and flexibility & mobility training. I have experience working with athletes of all ages, runners, geriatric population, bodybuilding, and individuals focused on weight loss.

I am inspired to empower people to accomplish their health and fitness goals so they obtain the freedom through physical health to engage in their dream life. I want to spread the message that utilizing the superpowers of the human body along with the proper structure and plan, anyone’s fitness and overall health goals can be achieved.

Through my education from CSUF, career in corrective exercise, and personal experience in undergoing two surgeries, I have a unique and personalized understanding the importance of diligent rehabilitation and the power of progression for recovery and performance.
As an avid marathon runner I’ve learned about the meticulous process it takes to appropriately fuel the body with healthy and efficient nutrition.

My approach to fitness and personal training is adherence and maintenance. My philosophy is, with the appropriate life to training balance, results can be progressively achieved as well as properly maintained, extending beyond programmed adherence and transforming into a permanent lifestyle. My first and foremost priority is establishing an interpersonal connection in order to better understand habits, lifestyle obstacles and goals to build the most uniform plan plug into their lives
